Wine & Food Tasting

Image
Recently, I've been to a wine and food tasting with some friends. We drove for about 45 minutes heading to Bergamo to arrive at the restaurant where everything took place. The location was evocative due to the wintry landscape, the restaurant was surrounded by bare trees and there was also a little lake with a little fountain in the middle of it, and a mini jetty (I wondered who ever tried to sail that tiny body of water!).  The place was on a rise, the tiny street we walked through was full of greenery and other plants that would probably blossom in spring. I bet that place must be amazing during spring and summer because they organise wedding there too, so I tried to imagine everything was floral.     who has the courage to get on that old boat?     First they took us on a wine cellar tour, and told the story of their family that produces wine since ages, and how they make it. Then, once we were all sat down in the hall, they served us five different types of win

New Hair

Image
My hair was almost waist-length...until yesterday when I decided to have a haircut. I love long hair, I personally prefer it because I think it looks better on me, but I really needed a haircut.       I started ombree my hair four years ago until July when I wanted to be a red head so I dyed my hair red. The last time I had a haircut was two years ago more or less....basically my hair was suffering and needed a restyling. I haven't done anything crazy or new, just the same old layered haircut that I have for years now, but I'm not very brave when it comes to hair because I don't think that I would look good with something different. I constantly straighten my hair which is natural curly and frizzy, so it was pretty exhausted. I know myself too well to suppose that I'll start to ombree my hair again for the upcoming summer. What do you think about my new haircut? Should I try a new one, maybe?   You can follow me on BlogLovin' if you like: <a h

Big Buffet and Concert in Milan

Image
A few days ago I went to a concert of an Italian band in Milan, with a couple of friends. We live near Milan, so it took us just an hour to get there. As it was 19 o' clock (more or less), we went to a bar for a aperitif. The place was called "Sand" and it was very cool, it had soft black leather sofas and mirrors all over the walls, light was suffused and they played lounge music. We ordered our drinks. I got one named Sand (as the place) that was so good, it tasted like pineapple, banana and orange; and my friends had another one but I can't remember what it was. But what is a happy hour without a buffet? Let me tell you it was magnificent! We plunged into the sea of food on the table decked for the occasion: different types of pasta, tortellini with cream and ham, lasagna, couscous, fresh sliced bread and several sauces to put on, cheese, pizza, focaccia bread, croquettes......oh, how I love aperitifs buffets! I always gorge a lot on!         The

Hello!

Image
Hello everyone! My name is Annamaria, translated in English as AnneMarie (but you can call me Anna), a 20-something Italian girl. I'm studying foreign languages at the University, I am attending the last term and hopefully I will graduate by the end of the year. I like beauty, make up, fashion, hip hop music, cinema, hang out with my friends...and many other things. After months and months of reading other people' blogs, I decided to start writing one of my own. I think blogs are super interesting as you may always chance upon new information about what you prefer, but most of all I like the fact that they are the personal view of who is writing. Having a blog is a totally new experience for me but I want to work hard on it. So in this "personal journal" expect beauty and fashion posts, some bits of my life as well as other topics about life in general that cross my mind. That's it for now, until the next post I'm wishing you a joyful life.   Ki
